We introduced multiple innovations that are prone to create new processes, products and services in the biometrics industry. The Electrocardiographic (ECG) signals have particularly interesting properties that distinguish them from any other modality in use today, namely they: a) Enable intrinsic aliveness detection; b) Can be measured non-invasively and in a pervasive manner at the hands of the user; c) Do not depend on external physical landmarks that can be replicated without user consent; and d) Are continuously available. We have prototypes for multiple markets: 1) computer authentication - embedding our technology on a keyboard enabling continuous user authentication; 2) vehicle user recognition - embedding on a steering wheel we prevent carjacking and enable customisation of the vehicle settings; 3) entertainment - embedding on a console allowing gamer recognition and fast personalization scenarios; 4) mobile - enabling security continuous recognition on mobile devices.
