ubaza

ubaza is an advertising platform that gives brands and advertising agencies a brand new medium to run advertising campaigns: ringtones. Advertisers use our website to create new audio advertising campaigns, e.g. jingles. The audio campaigns are then distributed to smartphone users using our free Android app. Users select an advertisement to replace their ringtone and, when the user’s phone rings, we pay him/her a monetary amount specified by the advertiser. Users are only payed if certain conditions are met, namely concerning audio volume and how much time the ad played, i.e. the technology prevents fraud and abuse. Unlike other advertising platforms, we provide advertisers with data about campaign performance (# of rings, distinct people activated), activation statistics (average ringing time, average number of activations per user and by time of day and day of week), demographics (age group, gender, marital status) and location (city and country).
