Storyo is a free, no-frills software app that transforms a smartphone into a movie director and turns photos into movies. Storyo’s algorithm (USPTO Patent Pending) automatically searches all the photos within a timeframe in the camera roll, finds out where they were taken and at what time, if there are repeat locations or multiple photos in a short period of time and combines them with maps, location and time data which is gathered from the web, automatically creating a meta-story within seconds which can be immediately viewed and shared directly by e-mail, Facebook, Instagram and other social networks. The user can also select a theme and soundtrack to enhance the story. An ultra simple editing tool also enables users to tweak their stories by adding or deleting pictures. Storyo is a B2C application at the intersection of photos and social, on a mission to be part of the lives of the "always connected" members of Generation C.
