Poplus is a website that brings together a group of people that want to buy the same item, combines all of the orders to place them directly with the vendor. The more people join, the less that item will cost. Some of the products will be picked/suggested by the community and those with more votes have the possibility of becoming available on the website. Items listed on the website have a duration of 1 week and during that week, the user confirms he’ll buy the item by providing payment information, only being charged for the lowest price when the offer is over. The more people join, the lower the final price will be on a product. Our idea is to cover some particular areas of interest such as Gaming (Mechanical Keyboards, Mice, Accessories), Audiophile market (mid to high-end speakers, headphones, amplifiers, DAC’s), Kickstarted products, Tech (phones, tablets, accessories), Lifestyle, Hobby, among other categories.
